    Cream Cheese
  • 80g
    Caribbean Treats Mango Jam

    tsp Dream Caribbean dried seasoning
  • 1
    clove of garlic minced
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1
    Baguette Loaf
  • 30ml
    (2 Tbsp) Olive Oil
  • Garnish
    Whole King Prawns and fresh Parsley

Method

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shrimp, mango jam, Caribbean seasoning, and garlic. Mix well until just combined. Alternatively, use a food processor to process the ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Slice the baguette diagonally and toast or grill
  3. Drizzle with olive oil
  4. Generously spread the Shrimp Pate on top
  5. Decorate with whole shrimp and fresh Parsley

Notes

For the cream cheese to be easy to mix, it needs to be softened to room temperature.

Instead of manually mixing the ingredients, you can use a food processor to combine them quickly.

If you want to add more flavour and heat to the spread, you can add Dream Caribbean Hot Pepper Sauce, chopped fresh cilantro or coriander, lime juice or zest, and/or minced red onion.

You can also use any other rustic bread like sourdough or ciabatta.
